About Me
With my diverse background in development, design, photography, and project management, I am a strong proponent of building and leading cross-functional teams.
I am currently leading the development of the Pantheon Design System. And in my previous role at The Ohio State University, I was a co-founder of their first university-wide design system.
Outside of work, I like to play music (most recently on this album), research urban history, take photos, and spend time with my partner and our dog.
Professional Experience
Staff UX Engineer
Product Owner and Tech Lead for the Pantheon Design System. System implementations include React and Twig-based component libraries, a design token library, and a Figma-based UI kit.
Director, Web Development and Design
Led a diverse team of developers and designers and was responsible for a large portfolio of websites, a website-building platform, web applications, digital assets, component libraries, and accessible document templates for The Office of the Chief Information Officer.
Co-founded the first university-wide design system.
Web Developer and Graphic Designer
Worked on the Digital First university-wide initiative providing branding, graphic design, and web development.
Graphic Designer and Web Communications Specialist
Provided web development, graphic design, photography, and project planning for Ohio State Transportation & Parking Services.
Image Production Supervisor
Led a team of production artists and photographers to create product images for a series of retail websites.
Visual Communication Coordinator and Lecturer
Supervised all visual-based aspects of the daily college newspaper including page production, photography and graphic design. Taught Photojournalism and Newspaper Design courses for the Department of Journalism.
Graphic Designer and Prepress Technician
Designed product labels and other packaging materials. Prepped files and produced plates for flexographic and foil stamp printing.
